The Seattle Mariners are playing for their postseason lives every night.
Currently, the Mariners sit one game out of the final AL Wild Card spot.
With only three games to play in the season, they need to win at least two and get some help.
Seattle is chasing the Houston Astros for the final Wild Card spot.
Any loss over this final series could effectively end their season.
Things looked bleak on Thursday night with the Mariners trailing 2-1 in the ninth inning.
But, they were able to get bases loaded with two outs with shortstop J.P. Crawford coming to the plate.
Seattle needed a hit from Crawford to tie the game and keep their season alive.
He came through in a big way launching a ball over the left fielder’s head and driving in two runs to win the game.

With three more home games to play, the Mariners need some magical moments in all of them.
If the Mariners can win the next three games, they will tie the Rangers with 89 wins.
Depending on how the Astros play, that could tie them for first place in the AL West.
There is still a lot to decide within this division.
Any of the Mariners, Astros, and Rangers could win the division or be a Wild Card team.
But, one team will be on the outside looking in when the playoffs begin.
It will be interesting to see how the pressure affects these players over the weekend.
A 162-game season rarely comes down to the last series of the season.
But, that is the case in the AL West.
