After it seemed like the Miami Dolphins were going to run away with the AFC East title a few weeks ago, the team is now heading into a Week 18 matchup against the Buffalo Bills on Sunday that will decide this season’s winner of the division.
If the Dolphins are going to get a win, they’re going to have to do it without a number of key contributors who are currently dealing with injuries.
According to NFL Media’s Tom Pelissero and Ian Rapoport, Miami will take the field on Sunday without the help of running back Raheem Mostert or wide receiver Jaylen Waddle (via Tom Pelissero on Twitter).
#Dolphins RB Raheem Mostert (knee/ankle) and WR Jaylen Waddle (ankle) — both listed as questionable — are not expected to play Sunday night vs. the #Bills, per me and @RapSheet.

This will be the second game in a row that Mostert and Waddle will miss, as they were both inactive for Miami’s loss to the Baltimore Ravens last week.
Luckily for the Dolphins, both players will reportedly be good to go for the team’s first-round playoff matchup next weekend.
Who that playoff matchup will be against is something that will be determined on Sunday.
If they defeat the Bills on Sunday, then Miami will become AFC East champions, and they will host at least one game in their home stadium during the upcoming postseason.
But if they lose to Buffalo on Sunday, the Dolphins will have to start their 2023 playoff journey on the road, and even if they make it to the AFC Championship, the chances of them playing a postseason contest on their home field will be very low.
After a brutal 56-19 loss to the Ravens last week, will Miami find a way to turn things around on Sunday and get a win over Buffalo?
