While plenty of teams have great aspirations heading into the 2024 NFL season, there are a couple of teams that are set up for a rough year.
Two of those teams are the Carolina Panthers and the New England Patriots.
According to ProFootballTalk, both Carolina and New England are believed to be underdogs in every single one of their games on the schedule.

Both franchises have first-year head coaches.
Both franchises have young quarterbacks.
It is a time of transition for two of the youngest teams in the league.
In Carolina’s case, their schedule doesn’t at all appear to be difficult, but it’s the inexperience and youth on the team that makes them underdogs.
After all, they will only play five games against the teams that made the playoffs a season ago.
The team hasn’t made the playoffs since 2017, which was also last the last time they had a winning record.
With New England, the Patriots are currently paying the price for having one of the greatest dynasties in NFL history.
After two decades of winning, the team is in a whole new era.
Jerod Mayo is in and Bill Belichick is out.
Tom Brady has been long gone.
Mac Jones was just traded this offseason.
This will be Drake Maye’s show in the very near future.
After finishing with a 4-13 record last year, the team is in a whole new state, which is why they are going to be underdogs.
Both teams will be on similar wavelengths as the season moves along.
