The Green Bay Packers have already made several moves in free agency, including their decision to part ways with De’Vondre Campbell.
Campell has been a vital part of this defense since he joined the team, but it appears that it was time to move on.
While the Packers might not need his services any longer, other teams are reportedly interested in Campbell.
This includes the San Francisco 49ers, as reporter Matt Maiocco has recently highlighted on Twitter.

The 49ers have had one of the best defenses in the NFL over the past several years, but they are always looking for ways to improve.
At the very least, Campbell could be a strong depth piece for this team, which is slated to be one of the best in the NFC again this year.
Campbell will be 31 to start the 2024 campaign, so while he has proven to have plenty of gas left in the tank, if the 49ers sign him, it will likely be for one or two years, depending on what his compensation structure will look like.
At his best, Campbell has been a player to provide a team with over 100 tackles in a single season.
His best statistical season was with the Packers in 2021, where he totaled 146 tackles, two sacks, and two interceptions.
If the 49ers or another suitor believe Campbell can get back to that production level, they will sign him in a heartbeat.
Ultimately, it will be interesting to see what Campbell’s contract looks like and if the 49ers will end up signing him.
