The New York Yankees were one of the most disappointing teams in baseball this season.
No team failed to reach preseason expectations quite like the Yankees.
Last season, they were carried by the greatness of Aaron Judge.
But, when he was forced to miss a plethora of games this year, they could not recover.
Yet, the season was not all negative for the Yankees.
They do have two players that are finalists for the Gold Glove Award.
According to the Yankees, shortstop Anthony Volpe and first baseman Anthony Rizzo are finalists for the Gold Glove.

It is impressive for Volpe to be on this list as he was a rookie this season.
He struggled at the plate, but he did a great job in the field.
As for Rizzo, he is a seasoned veteran who has been playing first base at a high level for many years.
He is a four-time Gold Glove winner and is hoping to make it five this year.
According to Fielding Bible, Volpe was second amongst AL shortstops in defensive runs saved this year with 15.
Rizzo was first amongst AL first basemen with three runs saved.
He accomplished that while only playing in 99 games.
Last season, Jeremy Pena became the first rookie to win the Gold Glove.
Volpe is hoping to join him on that list this year.
Both of these Yankees are well deserving of winning the Gold Glove.
It will certainly be a silver lining in what was a terrible season in New York.
