The Denver Broncos are — once again — the most disappointing team in the league this season.
Sean Payton has failed to establish a winning culture in the organization, and the defense has vastly regressed.
However, their offense has done a lot better, starting with Russell Wilson, who bounced back in a big way after last year’s debacle.
With that in mind, Wilson recently voiced his support for WR Jerry Jeudy, who has been the target of some harsh criticism for his lack of production.
Wilson believes that Jeudy will break out for the rest of the season, stating that the team believes in him and what he’s capable of doing (via Zac Stevens).
Russell Wilson believes Jerry Jeudy is going to “break out” the rest of year:
“He’s one of the most talented guys in this league. We believe in him…I believe that he can do some really special things for us. We want him to get the ball. Every time he touches it, he can score”

Jeudy entered the league with plenty of expectations, being a first-round pick out of Alabama.
He struggled to put up big numbers before Wilson’s arrival, which was far from a surprise, considering the Broncos’ subpar quarterback situation.
But not even having a former Super Bowl champion by his side has helped him take a leap forward.
Recently, NFL legend Steve Smith was brutal in his criticism of him, calling him a JAG, “Just a Guy,” and an average wide receiver the Broncos wasted a first-round pick on and will eventually move on from.
He didn’t seem to take the criticism too kindly, but he failed to silence the doubters in his last outing, hauling in three receptions for 14 yards in their loss to the Kansas City Chiefs.
The talent is there, and it’ll be up to him to show it.
