The Chicago Bears could be at the start of a much-needed, special run for themselves with the introduction of No. 1 overall pick Caleb Williams.
Along with drafting Williams this offseason, the Bears traded for Pro Bowl wide receiver Keenan Allen, signed 1,000-yard rusher D’Andre Swift and drafted All-American receiver Rome Odunze out of Washington.
This team, especially on offense, looks to be dangerous, which is why Fox Sports host Nick Wright is very high on the hype in the Windy City.
“I don’t know that it’s high enough…You have real reason to believe not only can this team go over 8.5 wins, that this team should make the playoffs, and could be a very dangerous playoff team,” Wright recently said on First Things First.
Is the hype around the Chicago Bears too high?

Wright made it a point to mention the recent personnel that this team has acquired to give themselves a chance this year.
Yes, they have plenty of talent on offense, but they also have some underrated names on defense.
They traded for Pro Bowl edge-rusher Montez Sweat last year and signed former All-Pro safety Kevin Byard this offseason.
Pro Bowl cornerback Jaylon Johnson and Pro Bowl linebacker Tremaine Edmunds are two other significant names on defense as well.
In a division with the Detroit Lions and the Green Bay Packers, it is hard to say whether or not this team can challenge for the division or even the playoffs.
But as things stand right now, this roster has the look of a team that is on the rise and that could surprise people.
