It seems as though Green Bay Packers legend and current New York Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers still has a soft spot for the NFC North.
In a recent interview on Pardon My Take, Rodgers gave his thoughts on what the Chicago Bears have done to improve their team this offseason.
“I think the team is almost good enough to beat the Packers. Almost good enough,” Rodgers jokingly said.
Aaron Rodgers on today’s @PardonMyTake about the Bears’ offseason:

Rodgers also mentioned how much he loves it when the Packers beat the Bears.
Even though he is not in Green Bay anymore, that NFC North fire still burns bright for the four-time MVP and Super Bowl champion.
It was interesting that Rodgers was fascinated with the Bears’ offseason moves.
The team drafted former Heisman-winning quarterback Caleb Williams, as well as All-American wide receiver Rome Odunze, in the first round of April’s NFL Draft.
They also traded for Pro Bowl wide receiver Keenan Allen and signed 1,000-yard running back D’Andre Swift.
This is a Bears franchise looking to start a new chapter of winning.
In the last 31 matchups with the Packers, the Bears are 4-27.
Additionally, they have won the NFC North just once in the last 13 seasons.
This franchise and its fan base have both been suffering for a long time, which can mostly be attributed to Rodgers himself.
But with the impressive moves that GM Ryan Poles has made this offseason, the future could be bright in Chicago.
Time will tell to see if this team can compete for the NFC North right away or not.
