The offseason has already begun for 26 of the 30 MLB teams.
Two teams that have seen significant moves occur to their front office are the Miami Marlins and Boston Red Sox.
Boston fired GM Chaim Bloom after their unsuccessful season, while the Marlins and GM Kim Ng decided to mutually part ways.
Even after a successful season in Miami, the Marlins tried to bring in a President of Baseball Operations to overtake Ng.
She decided it was best to leave the organization.
Now, Ng is expected to be one of the hot GM candidates and the Red Sox have a clear opening in their front office.
Yet, Ng has no intention of joining the Red Sox.
According to Chris Cotillo via Talkin’ Baseball, Ng declined the chance to interview for the Red Sox GM position.

It is interesting to see that she did not even want to take an interview.
Maybe she is looking for an organization that is closer to competing for a different role.
There are not going to be many teams who have GM openings.
But, there are always jobs in the front office a team could create.
Ng was able to build a playoff team out of the Marlins in three years.
She made a couple of key trades including bringing in NL batting champion Luis Arraez.
You can bet Ng will be apart of some organization heading into next year.
But, what her title will be is something that remains to be seen.
