After only appearing in 12 games last season, Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson has been able to help lead his team to a 4-2 record heading into Week 7.
As it has been for most of his pro career, Jackson’s passing numbers have been pretty average this year (five touchdowns, three interceptions, 208.8 passing yards per game), but his rushing numbers are just as impressive as they have been ever since he entered the NFL in 2018.
In Baltimore’s six games this season, Jackson has rushed for 327 yards and four touchdowns on 60 carries (5.5 yards per rush attempt).
The Ravens have a difficult matchup this Sunday when they host a 5-1 Detroit Lions team that hasn’t lost on the road yet this year, but FS1’s Skip Bayless recently shared that he believes Baltimore’s star quarterback is going to step up and lead his team to a win.
“Nobody is a bigger, badder gamer and baller than Lamar Jackson. When the money is on the line, he will make big plays… I believe they will beat Detroit.”

The Ravens have only played two of their games at home this year, but this weekend’s contest against the Lions is the beginning of a stretch where four of Baltimore’s next five games will be played in their home stadium.
The Ravens will be hoping that their home-field advantage will come in handy against Detroit and during the next few weeks when they get to play in front of their home fans.
Sunday’s matchup isn’t going to be easy for the Ravens, and avoiding critical mistakes is likely going to be a big key in determining the winner.
Can Baltimore be the first team to hand the Lions a road loss this season when they face off this weekend?
