The Atlanta Falcons find themselves in a position to compete for the NFC South title, and Week 7 featured a marquee matchup against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Like the Falcons, the Buccaneers have also been surprisingly competitive during the 2023 NFL season despite the offseason pessimism.
Atlanta and Tampa Bay are currently at the top of the division, making this head-to-head matchup a pivotal one when it comes to the playoffs.
Arthur Smith has plenty of explosive weapons at his disposal, though his insistence on running the football has prevented the team from reaching its offensive potential.
Bijan Robinson has been one of the most electric players in the league this year, though he was shockingly absent in the first half as he only played a handful of snaps and got no touches.
At halftime, Smith clarified that Robinson wasn’t feeling well via Tori McElhaney of the Falcons.
Arthur Smith via the broadcast: Bijan Robinson “just not feeling all that great.”
Don’t expect him to play much more.

This news came as a surprise to everyone watching as there were no previous reports of Robinson dealing with any sort of injury or ailment.
Whatever happened with the rookie must’ve occurred either yesterday or gameday and that led to some frustrations from fans and fantasy players alike.
Robinson didn’t appear in the second half which was to be expected, though Tyler Allegier and Cordarrelle Patterson were able to fill in the void and keep Atlanta on schedule.
However, now there are questions as to what exactly happened with Robinson and if he’ll be forced to miss any time in the future.
Hopefully, he’s good to go because he’s a joy to watch and the Falcons are a much better team with him available.
