The Las Vegas Raiders fell to a 3-4 record after being dismantled by the Chicago Bears.
Missing Jimmy Garoppolo was a devastating blow to the Raiders’ offense throughout this game, as Brian Hoyer and Aidan O’Connell were unable to deliver.
Hoyer was the Raiders’ leading passer in this game, throwing for 129 yards and giving up two interceptions.
After this blowout loss, Davante Adams highlighted a few things that he saw that led to the Raiders’ downfall.
“I feel like they played a pretty solid game all around- but it definitely had nothing to do with any crazy things that they did,” Adams said via Paul Gutierrez.

Adams didn’t make these comments to disparage his opponent. but rather, he was upset with the way that the Raiders performed.
One of the comments Adams made was “We’ve just got to mix it up a little better.”
By utilizing the running game, teams can open up passing lanes, which makes it easier for players like Adams to do their job.
In this loss against the Bears, the Raiders attempted just 14 runs, including 11 from Josh Jacobs.
Jacobs was the NFL’s leading rusher during the 2022 season, and the Raiders failed to utilize one of their best players during this game.
By making a few changes, Adams believes the Raiders can put themselves in a much better position to win games.
At 3-4, the Raiders find themselves in an interesting spot for the remainder of the season.
If they want to make it to the playoffs, Adams’ projected changes will need to happen soon.
