The Baltimore Ravens had an almost perfect game vs. the Detroit Lions.
They could’ve shut them out, but they took their feet off the gas late in the game, as normally happens.
But Lamar Jackson hit the ground running and made a huge statement after their shocking loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers.
He reminded everyone why he was the league’s Most Valuable Player just a couple of years ago, and had arguably the best game of his career.
That’s why Ryan Clark believes that the Ravens are a legitimate Super Bowl candidate and favorite after watching the way their offense progressed and finally clicked.
In his latest appearance on ESPN’s “Get Up,” the former defensive star praised Jackson for the way he dominated the Lions, agreeing with Mike Greenberg’s statement of it being the best game he had ever seen him play.

The Louisville product completed 21 of 27 passes for 357 yards and three touchdowns with a passer rating of 155.8.
He also dominated out of the backfield as per usual, scrambling nine times for 36 yards and an additional score.
But beyond the numbers, Jackson’s game was so impressive because of how poised and calm he looked in the pocket.
His offensive line did an outstanding job of keeping him safe, and he made the most of the extra time to find his receivers in stride over and over, punishing the Lions’ DBs left and right.
The Ravens made a huge financial investment to keep him there for the long run, and it’s finally paying off.
