The Philadelphia Eagles righted the ship on Sunday Night Football as they beat the Miami Dolphins in the most highly-anticipated matchup in Week 7.
What most thought would be a high-scoring affair turned into a convincing win for the Eagles who were able to hold the vaunted Dolphins offense to just 17 points on the evening.
Defensively, Philadelphia was able to get pressure on Tua Tagovailoa and stuff Raheem Mostert in the run game.
Veteran linebacker Hasaan Reddick was a menace off the edge as he blew up several running plays and forced Miami into several third-and-long situations.
Although Tyreek Hill had a big day, the rest of the receiving options for the Dolphins were relatively quiet.
Even after a solid performance from their secondary, Philadelphia decided to bolster that unit even more when they reportedly traded for Kevin Byard via Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.

The Eagles are sending safety Terrell Edmunds and 2024 fifth and sixth-round picks to the Tennessee Titans in exchange for Byard.
This is a major move for Philadelphia as Byard remains one of the best safeties in the league and gives them even more versatility on the backend of the defense.
A two-time All-Pro, Byard has racked up 47 total tackles and one fumble recovery in six games so far, but his efforts haven’t led to many wins for the struggling Titans.
It’s a good change of pace for the safety as he now is expected to step in as a starter and help the Eagles get back to the Super Bowl.
