After spending half of the season with the Philadelphia Eagles last year, it appears that free-agent defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh is hoping to do something similar for the 2023 campaign.
At 36 years old, Suh is obviously nearing the end of his playing career in the NFL.
But it sounds like the All-Pro defensive tackle wants to make at least one more run at helping a team win a Super Bowl.
Suh recently told Sky Sports that he had a meeting with the Baltimore Ravens last week, but he’s still going to wait a little longer until he decides which team to join for the remainder of the 2023 season (via Ari Meirov).
Free agent DT Ndamukong Suh said on @SkySportsNFL that he spoke to the #Ravens last week and will take a few more weeks before deciding on joining a contender, just as he did last year when he signed with the Eagles.

Whether Suh signs with the Ravens or with another team, one should expect him to wait until after this season’s trade deadline on October 31 to make a decision.
This way, he can join a team that is still in need of his services if they were unable to trade a defensive tackle before this year’s deadline.
It wouldn’t make a ton of sense for Suh to sign with a team now and then not get any playing time after the trade deadline because that team also acquired a veteran defensive tackle in a deal made before October 31.
In 11 games with the Eagles last season (including the playoffs), Suh accumulated 12 tackles, five quarterback hits, and one sack.
So, he’s clearly not the force on defense that he was during the early part of his NFL career, but he can still provide a team with some veteran experience in the middle of their defensive line.
