The Philadelphia Eagles improved to 6-1 on the season with a convincing win over the Miami Dolphins on Sunday evening, and it was the type of statement win they needed.
They hadn’t been playing their best football coming into that contest, and some wondered if the defending NFC champions had the type of hangover that can afflict teams that are coming off a trip to the Super Bowl.
But that victory seemed to reaffirm just how good Philly is, and Micah Parsons, the talented pass rusher of the Dallas Cowboys, admitted that Philly is the best team in the NFL right now, via Dov Kleiman.

“Nobody stopped the ‘Tush-Push’ yet”
“I don’t believe they have any weaknesses.”

Some have felt the San Francisco 49ers were the best team in the league, but they have lost two games in a row, and while the defending Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs are also 6-1, they have an apparent hole at the wide receiver position.
The Eagles could very well be the most complete team in football right now.
While quarterback Jalen Hurts may not be elite, he is a good one, and he has two very good wide receivers in A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith, while running back D’Andre Swift has filled in nicely for the departed Miles Sanders, who made the Pro Bowl last year.
On defense, Philly has two strong cornerbacks, and their front seven is led by linebacker Haason Reddick, who was a Pro Bowler last season.
The team blew a 10-point halftime lead in last season’s Super Bowl to Kansas City, and it would love nothing more than to get revenge on Patrick Mahomes and company this winter.
