The Dallas Cowboys have started the 2023 season with a 4-2 record.
While they are ahead in the win/loss column, many fans and analysts have been hyper-critical of the Cowboys’ performances thus far.
Jerry Jones has been unbothered by their on-field play, indicating that he likes what he sees from the Cowboys.
Craig Carton quickly called him out on these comments, saying, “You better get some glasses.”
“If I’m a Cowboy fan and it’s been a long time since I went to a Super Bowl and my owner says, ‘I like what I see,’ you better get some glasses.”

Carton is not convinced that the Cowboys have what it takes to compete throughout the season.
He expects them to add a few pieces at the trade deadline and didn’t agree with Jones’ comments about the team’s current state.
The Cowboys are currently fifth in the NFL in terms of points scored, so their offense has been doing well with getting points on the board.
Their defense has also played as expected, allowing the fourth-fewest points per game.
With all of this in mind, Carton remains unconfident in the Cowboys moving forward.
He would like to see the Cowboys add a few additional pieces at the trade deadline to help their chances for the rest of the season.
Thus far, the NFC has been dominated by the Philadelphia Eagles and San Francisco 49ers.
If the Cowboys want to keep up, they might need to heed Carton’s warning and start looking for potential deadline options.
Their next three opponents are the Los Angeles Rams, Eagles, and Giants.
Will their standing change in Carton’s eyes for the rest of the year if they get through these games unscathed?
