The NLCS came down to a decisive Game 7 between the Philadelphia Phillies and Arizona Diamondbacks.
The game was played in Philadelphia and featured some of the most raucous fans in the sport.
If you are looking for the best home-field advantage in baseball, look no further than that of Citizens Bank Park.
Arizona headed into Philadelphia for Games 6 and 7 trailing 3-2 in the series.
Winning two games in Philadelphia seemed like an impossible task.
Especially since the Phillies entered those games undefeated at home in the playoffs.
Yet, the Diamondbacks outhit and outpitched the Phillies in the final two games to pull off the shocking upset.
One player who carried them in Game 7 was rookie outfielder Corbin Carroll.
He went 3-4 with two RBI and two runs scored.
Also, Carroll talked postgame about the atmosphere in the city.
According to Jon Morosi, Carroll said, “I got heckled five times today.”
Corbin Carroll admires the passion of Philly fans.
He said with a smile after Game 7, of his experience in Center City:
“I got heckled five times today. I walked a block.” @MLBNetwork

The Phillies fans have always been known for being ruthless.
But, the Diamondbacks did a good job of quieting them during the final two games of the series.
Now, Arizona will head to their first World Series since 2001.
It will be the D-Backs taking on the Texas Rangers.
But, similar to how the rest of the playoffs have gone, not many people will be picking Arizona.
They continue to be overlooked no matter how many playoff games they win.
It will be interesting to see how they perform now that the brightest lights in the sport are on them.
If Arizona can win four more games it will be one of the most improbable playoff runs in MLB history.
