The Arizona Diamondbacks have done something this postseason that has stunned the baseball world.
They have gone from the last NL Wild Card spot to the World Series.
What surprises most people is that the Diamondbacks do not have a great roster.
But, many of their players have stepped up and played their best this postseason.
One player who has carried the Diamondbacks is second baseman Ketel Marte.
He has been elite at the plate en route to an impressive postseason hitting streak.
According to MLB, Marte has a 16-game hitting streak in the playoffs.
That is the longest to start a postseason career in MLB history.

Marte took that hitting streak all the way to being named NLCS MVP.
He was the best player in the series for the Diamondbacks by a wide margin.
Even when Arizona was struggling to score, Marte seemed to impact the game positively.
Now, as the Diamondbacks head to the World Series, Marte hopes to keep his hitting streak alive.
Arizona will be facing one of the best offensive teams in baseball, the Texas Rangers.
Scoring runs will be a must if they hope to crown themselves champions.
This is a World Series that no one could have predicted.
Two Wild Card teams, each of which has been rebuilding the last few years.
Matchups like this are what postseason baseball is all about.
Whichever teams are playing the best entering October usually make a deep run in the postseason.
This year it seems to be the Diamondbacks and Rangers.
