The Texas Rangers are one of the more unlikely teams to reach the World Series in recent memory.
They entered the playoffs as the second Wild Card team in the AL.
But, have played like the best team in the sport over the last few weeks.
You cannot say enough about how the Rangers responded to adversity this postseason.
They trailed 3-2 in the ALCS heading back to Houston for the final two games.
The Rangers routed the Astros in both games to win their first AL Pennant since 2011.
One player who deserves plenty of recognition is ALCS MVP Adolis Garcia.
He was playing some of the best baseball of his life as he carried the Rangers offense.
Rangers catcher Jonah Heim talked about how teams should be careful not to wake up Garcia.
According to the Rangers, Heim said: “When you wake Adolis up, you better be careful. You’re playing with fire there.”

Garcia batted .357 with five home runs and 15 RBI during the ALCS.
It seemed like every time he came up to the plate he was ready to do damage.
This is the first time Garcia has played in the postseason.
He is making a name for himself as a playoff legend.
But, he still has a lot of work to do as the Rangers are four wins away from the ultimate goal.
It will be interesting to see what other awards Garcia can add to his mantle this postseason.
There is no question the World Series MVP is something he is going for.
