Despite a win over the Green Bay Packers in Week 7, the Denver Broncos still find themselves at 2-5 and at the bottom of the AFC West standings.
The Broncos managed to win on a field goal to steal a victory over the Packers, but it’s clear through seven weeks of the 2023 NFL season that the team is far away from legitimately competing for a Super Bowl.
Russell Wilson has been playing better compared to last season, but he alone can’t uplift this team and the organization would be better off selling away some of its talent in order to reload the roster.
Denver has already started that process as they shipped out Randy Gregory a couple of weeks ago to the San Francisco 49ers.
The Broncos have several interesting players that could help a postseason-hopeful team and it appears they’ll be listening to offers on them in the coming days, per Albert Breer of Sports Illustrated via JPAFootball.
𝗥𝗨𝗠𝗢𝗥𝗦: The #Broncos are going to listen to trade inquiries on WR Jerry Jeudy, WR Courtland Sutton, OL Garett Bolles, LB Josey Jewell, S Justin Simmons and even CB Patrick Surtain over the next six days, says @AlbertBreer

The NFL trade deadline is on October 31 at 4 p.m. ET, so Denver has a little less than a week to search for good deals for its players.
Jerry Jeudy feels like the most likely player to be moved as he has floated in and out of games and hasn’t lived up to his first-round billing.
Patrick Surtain II would definitely fetch the Broncos the biggest haul, though they would probably like to keep him long-term given that he’s widely considered to be one of the best defensive backs in the league.
All in all, Denver would be wise to start thinking about the future as this current version of the team has no hope of winning a title.
