Although the Los Angeles Rams don’t feature the same kind of superstar talent that the organization has become known for, the team has been more competitive than most expected.
That’s a major credit to the young players who have stepped up into bigger roles, though Sean McVay also deserves some recognition for what he’s done on the sidelines.
McVay remains one of the most highly-regarded coaches in the NFL and he’s proven that he can get the most out of his rosters despite not having high-end talent.
Although Los Angeles is below .500 in the standings right now, McVay has got them into positions where they can win games on a weekly basis.
The 37-year-old head coach is always looking for ways to reinvent his offense, and he’s shown that he can be adaptable to whatever personnel he’s given.
However, McVay now faces a new challenge as the team announced the arrival of his son via the Rams’ official Twitter account.

McVay quipped last week that his son would know better than to come on a game day, and it looks like he and his wife got their wish as their baby boy came in the middle of their Week 8 preparation for the Dallas Cowboys.
McVay has been open about his desire to start a family, so this is a wonderful time for him and his loved ones to welcome a child into the world.
It remains to be seen if this will affect McVay’s availability during the week, but knowing him he’ll be on the sidelines this Sunday.
