The Baltimore Ravens made a statement to the rest of the NFL with a 38-6 beatdown of the Detroit Lions last weekend, and with a 5-2 record, they’re starting to look like a force to be reckoned with.
Some doubt they’re legitimate Super Bowl contenders, but if they continue to win games in bunches, especially against playoff and elite teams, that doubt could start to wash away.
They will visit the Arizona Cardinals this Sunday, and wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. was a limited participant in Thursday’s practice with a shoulder injury.

Beckham was signed to a lucrative one-year contract during the offseason after he sat out last season while rehabbing from his second torn ACL.
It was hoped he would give Baltimore’s weak passing offense a boost, but in five games this season he has just 162 yards on 14 catches.
If they aren’t a true championship contender, their passing attack is the reason why — they currently rank just 16th in passing yards and 18th in passing touchdowns.
Quarterback Lamar Jackson is having a nice season, but he still has a lack of weapons downfield, although rookie wide receiver Zay Flowers has been something of a revelation with 442 yards and a touchdown in seven games.
The Ravens have come up in trade rumors, and the one intriguing player they have been linked to is Tennessee Titans star running back Derrick Henry.
With the injuries their running backs are currently dealing with, as well as head coach John Harbaugh’s run-heavy offensive scheme, perhaps Henry would be the final piece for the Ravens.
