The Dallas Cowboys are getting ready to host the Los Angeles Rams in Arlington for Sunday’s matchup.
That means they must’ve watched plenty of film on one particular guy named Aaron Donald.
Donald isn’t getting any younger, and he may not have the quick first step he had three years ago, but he’s still an elite defender.
When asked about facing him and whether he’s still the same player, Cowboys QB Dak Prescott gave a blunt response.
Prescott talked about Donald being a generational player and one of the most dominant defensive forces in the league, so he’s definitely still a guy to take care of and the centerpiece of their gameplan (via Jon Machota).
Dak Prescott when asked if Aaron Donald is the same Aaron Donald he was earlier in his career: “Shit yeah he is. Yeah, he is. I’ve got to play him this week, of course he is. Yeah, he’s still the focus. That guy, I don’t know, what is it, three (NFL) Defensive Player of the Year…

Prescott talked about Donald winning three Defensive Player of the Year awards and how he continues to be the Cowboys’ focus ahead of that game.
Donald seemed on his way out last season, struggling with injuries and playing for a bad team.
But he’s had a chip on his shoulder since the start of the season, and he’s not the kind of guy you want to overlook when meeting the Rams.
Prescott admitted that Donald is the kind of player who can “ruin” a game for them and the Cowboys offensive line is going to have their hands full with No. 99.
The Cowboys are fresh off a big win over the Chargers and currently have a 4-2 record.
But considering how tough the race has been for the top seed in the NFC, they cannot afford to drop this winnable game at home.
