In order to win it all, the Dallas Cowboys have to be better in the passing game, and that means getting star WR CeeDee Lamb more involved.
Lamb has repeatedly complained about his lack of touches, and it seemed to work, as he was more involved in their most recent game, a win over the Los Angeles Chargers.
But now that they’re fresh off their bye week and slated to face the Los Angeles Rams, he wanted to set the record straight about his complaints (via Jon Machota).
Cowboys WR CeeDee Lamb on wanting the ball more to help the team win: “I have to make it clear, I’m not stingy. I’m here to help. I don’t necessarily think you take anyone in the first round and not have them help the team. That’s point blank period. Just let me do what I can do…

Lamb stated that first-round picks should be expected to contribute to the team, and he knows he’s there for a reason.
He also wanted to make it clear that he’s not stingy or taking shots at any of his teammates, stating that he knows every single player in the locker room has his back.
Truth be told, Lamb is the kind of talented player who should be targeted at least 12 to 15 times per game.
Dak Prescott hasn’t been the most proficient passer in the NFL as of late, and the Cowboys understandably try to make things easier for him by relying on their defense and the running game.
While their thought process is understandable, good wideouts make quarterbacks look good, and Lamb has proven to be a special kind of talent.
The Cowboys have struggled to come back from behind in games this year, often due to their subpar passing game.
However, winning teams need to find offensive balance, and the answer to the Cowboys’ offensive issues has always been right there in front of them.
