The Arizona Cardinals have played like one of the worst teams in football this year.
But, looking at their roster, that was to be expected.
Arizona knew they would be without quarterback Kyler Murray to begin the year.
He is recovering from a torn ACL, and they do not want to rush him back.
But, after months and months of rehab, it appears that Murray is ready to return.
He has begun practicing again and was even removed from the team’s injury report.
According to Darren Urban, Cardinals coach Jonathan Gannon said, “We’ll see” when discussing if Murray could play this week.
Gannon on Kyler being active Sunday: “We’ll see.”
Said he is fully healthy which is why he didn’t have a injury result on Thursday report.

Murray appears to be fully healthy, but the Cardinals have yet to activate him off the Physically Unable to Perform list.
Even if he does not play this weekend, it should not be much longer until we see their star quarterback back on the field.
The Cardinals are 1-6 on the year.
Their season is a lost cause even if Murray returns.
So they have no reason to want to rush him back to the field.
What will be interesting is what Arizona decides to do in the offseason.
If they finish as one of the worst teams in the league they will have a choice to select a new quarterback in the draft.
Murray has been good during his career, but he has only led them to the playoffs one time.
He lost that one playoff game as well.
It would be great to see Murray back on the field, but his long-term outlook in Arizona remains uncertain.
