Patrick Mahomes has been one of the NFL’s best quarterbacks since he entered the league.
He already has two Super Bowl rings under his belt and has also won league MVP on two separate occasions.
Mahomes has made a significant impact on the Kansas City Chiefs and will likely go down as one of the greatest quarterbacks in NFL history.
Despite his career output to this point, even the best players can put up poor performances.
This was the case for Mahomes against the Denver Broncos in Week 8.
According to SportsCenter, Mahomes did not throw a touchdown pass, the first time he had done so in 29 games.

This was an impressive streak for the star QB, a streak that he will now have to restart.
The Chiefs were heavily favored heading into this game, but Mahomes’ play wasn’t able to bring that prediction to fruition.
It was revealed shortly before kickoff that Mahomes was dealing with a sickness, which reared its head on the playing field.
Not only did Mahomes not throw a touchdown in this game, but he ended the game with less than 250 passing yards and threw two interceptions as well.
These two interceptions vaulted Mahomes to the top of the league in this category, as he has thrown eight on the season.
He joins seven other quarterbacks to throw eight interceptions through eight weeks.
This is not exactly a statistical category that Mahomes wants to lead the league in, and not throwing a touchdown in this game was just the cherry on top of a rough Sunday for him.
