The Miami Dolphins bounced back in a big way with a much-needed win over the New England Patriots, sweeping the season series over their divisional rivals.
Tua Tagovailoa is now 6-0 in his career against HC Bill Belichick, but even though the offense was obviously the catalyst behind yet another big win, their defense had one major reinforcement ahead of this game.
Star CB Jalen Ramsey was finally able to make his season debut after missing most of training camp and the entire preseason with an injury, and he showed no signs of rust whatsoever.
However, even though he even logged an interception in his first game as a Dolphin, HC Mike McDaniel was ‘disappointed’ in the fact that he failed to take it all the way back to the uprights.
Following the win, McDaniel jokingly said that he was ‘totally disappointed’ in Ramsey because he said he would get a pick six, not a pick field goal (via Marcel Louis-Jacques).

Ramsey picked Mac Jones off shortly before halftime, setting up a Jason Sanders field goal to get a 17-7 lead before the break.
He looked as sharp as usual, and it’s an encouraging sign, considering the long layoff.
The Dolphins are 6-2 for the first time since 2001, and while they have struggled against some of the best teams in the league, which is obviously a worrisome trend, they look like the kind of team that could go toe-to-toe with anybody.
The defense has been their weakest link since Mike McDaniel took over, and they now have one of the best CBs in the game ready to solve some of those issues.
