With all the rumors surrounding the future of the organization, the Tenneesee Titans got a huge win over the Atlanta Falcons to keep their postseason hopes alive.
Still, some believe it’s just a matter of time before they stop competing, and thus, trading Derrick Henry would make the most sense.
Nonetheless, the Titans have already reportedly informed Henry that they don’t intend to trade him despite the league-wide interest in his services.
With that in mind, the Pro Bowl running back made it loud and clear that he’s happy to be a member of the organization and has no intention whatsoever of forcing his way out of the team (via Arye Pulli).
Titans RB Derrick Henry was asked about potentially being dealt at the deadline and his conversations with the team:
“I feel like everything is going in a positive direction [towards not being traded]… but at the end of the day, I’m a Titan, I’m happy to be a Titan, and I’m… pic.twitter.com/5Zv1JiIMVn

The former Alabama standout will turn 30 in January and will make north of $6 million for the remainder of the season, so it would be tough to find him a trade suitor.
That means other teams would have to modify his contract to accommodate it to their books, and the deadline to modify contracts is set prior to the trade deadline.
That makes it even less likely that he’s going to be moved.
The Titans just won their third game of the season, and they did it in rather shocking fashion, with rookie QB Will Levis dominating and throwing for four touchdowns in his season debut.
Henry had 22 rushes for 101 yards, taking his season total to 526 with three touchdowns.
He currently has the most rushing yards among active players and is obviously one of the best at his position, but it doesn’t seem like he’s going anywhere.
