After starting the season 5-0, the San Francisco 49ers have found themselves amid a three-game losing streak.
During that stretch, they’ve lost to the Cleveland Browns, Minnesota Vikings, and Cincinnati Bengals.
While they might have been closely matched up with the Bengals, they were expected to beat the Browns and Vikings.
This skid has been unexpected, and it has caused many to comment on the state of their team, wondering what they will look like moving forward.
Micah Parsons recently shared his feelings on the situation on a podcast shared via Bleacher Report.
“Football has a funny way of making people humble,” Parsons said.

While the 49ers might have been expected to contend for the NFC’s top spot after their hot start, those expectations have come crashing down.
Parsons mentioned, “I don’t think the Dallas Cowboys could survive a three-game losing streak,” an indication of what he currently thinks of the 49ers.
Their season is far from over, but losing three games, two of which they were heavy favorites, is a cause of concern for Parsons and other fans across the league.
The 49ers are facing the Jacksonville Jaguars as their next opponent, followed by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Seattle Seahawks.
Parsons did end this segment of the podcast by saying “I don’t think we should bury the 49ers for three-straight losses.”
If they can figure it out against these three opponents, the 49ers will likely regain their standing in the public eye.
But, if they lose two or three of these matchups, more questions will be asked of them moving forward.
