The Minnesota Vikings won a tough divisional game on Sunday over the Green Bay Packers.
But, leaving the stadium it certainly felt like they lost.
That is because star quarterback Kirk Cousins suffered a devastating Achilles injury.
The severity of the injury was unknown, but many people knew the injury was serious as Cousins got carted to the locker room.
It turns out Cousins suffered a season-ending Achilles tear.
This is a massive blow to a team that was starting to turn things around.
Minnesota improved to 4-4 and is back in the NFC playoff picture.
But, without Cousins, they needed to find a new reliable quarterback.
That is why they went out and acquired Joshua Dobbs from the Arizona Cardinals.
According to Ian Rapoport, Dobbs is being sent to the Vikings as they were looking for someone with starting experience.
The #Vikings are trading for #AZCardinals QB Josh Dobbs, with plenty of starting experience, per me and @TomPelissero.

Dobbs played well at points this year for the Cardinals.
He is a dual-threat quarterback who should be able to keep the Vikings in contention.
Arizona was fine moving off him because Kyler Murray is expected to return very soon.
The Vikings are not giving up on the season with Cousins out.
Dobbs is more than capable of filling in as the starter for the rest of the season.
But, he needs all the Vikings’ playmakers to stay healthy to be the most successful.
Ideally, they will get star wide receiver Justin Jefferson back in the coming weeks.
This may not be a move that gets a lot of people excited.
But, it is certainly an improvement for Minnesota as they hope to keep their season alive.
