The Las Vegas Raiders dropped their record to 3-5 on Monday.
More than that, they once again showed their offensive struggles, and they don’t look like the kind of team that’s going to even sniff the postseason.
So, with Davante Adams letting it be known that he’s not happy with his team’s offensive situation, it only made sense that the Raiders would look to recoup as much draft capital as they could for his services.
However, NFL insider Adam Schefter just said on ESPN’s “First Take” that Raiders sources told him there’s no chance that they trade Adams right now.
“The response that I got back to any potential Davante Adams trade, by the 4 o’clock eastern deadline today was to quote: ‘Not a chance in hell.’ So there’s your answer.” – @AdamSchefter pic.twitter.com/8ne3JmLp46

Adams looked for a trade to Sin City in the 2022 offseason.
With all the uncertainty regarding Aaron Rodgers’ situation, he did what seemed was best for him by joining forces with Derek Carr, who was his best friend and quarterback at Fresno State.
But with the Raiders using Carr as a scapegoat and letting him go, there aren’t many reasons for Adams to be happy there.
The offense has failed to put up more than 20 points in a single game more than once this season.
They’ve misused an elite running back like Josh Jacobs, sometimes because of their poor offensive line play, and sometimes because of playcalling.
As for Adams, he’s posted the worst numbers of his career with Jimmy Garoppolo as his quarterback, and he’s not happy with being one of the league’s most expensive decoys.
Unfortunately for him, he may not have another choice, at least until the end of the season.
