Through eight weeks of the 2023 NFL season, many feel the Philadelphia Eagles, the defending NFC champions, are the best team in football.
They have a 7-1 record after defeating the Washington Commanders on Sunday, and they rank third in points scored and second in total yards.
Some would say the Kansas City Chiefs or Miami Dolphins are the best team in the league, but there could be another team lurking on that tier.
While Emmanuel Acho said on FS1’s “Speak” that they aren’t the best team (he feels the Chiefs are the best), the Dallas Cowboys, to him, are the most complete team around.

Acho’s argument is that the Cowboys are the only team to score at least 40 points and allow three or fewer points in multiple games this season.
They won three of their first four games in blowout fashion, and after losing to the Arizona Cardinals in Week 3 and getting blown out by the San Francisco 49ers in Week 5, they have won two straight.
On Sunday, they downed the Los Angeles Rams, 43-20, and displayed plenty of prowess on both sides of the football.
Dallas forced Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford into a poor game, while Dallas signal-caller Dak Prescott completed 25 of 31 pass attempts and threw for 304 yards and four touchdowns.
Ultimately, how much success they have, especially come playoff time, will fall on Prescott, as he has a history of underperforming in big games and in the playoffs.
But other than him, they have one of the game’s best wide receivers in CeeDee Lamb, an outstanding pass rusher in Micah Parsons, and an excellent cornerback in Stephon Gilmore.
