The Tennessee Titans were humbled on Thursday Night Football by losing to the Pittsburgh Steelers.
This was Will Levis’ second career NFL start, a game that was highly anticipated for the young rookie.
After his debut of a four-touchdown game in an eventual victory over the Atlanta Falcons, Levis had a lot of hype to live up to.
With this loss against the Steelers, Levis was brutally honest about his feelings in a postgame presser shared by Jim Wyatt.
He talked about several plays throughout the game that could have gone in the Titans’ favor while crediting the Steelers’ defense.
“Losing sucks, especially at this level,” Levis said, per Jim Wyatt.

Levis seemed to own up to all of the mistakes he made throughout this game.
He did not blame his teammates or coaches, taking accountability for his actions.
The first loss of a young quarterback’s career can be telling about the type of player and person they will be in the NFL.
Levis’ calm, measured response to this loss is an indication that he’ll be a great leader for the Titans, should they start him at QB moving forward.
In just two starts, Levis has gained command of the locker room.
He has also gained the respect and admiration of many fans, who hope that he can continue to lead this team.
Ryan Tannehill is still out due to injury, which could be a sign that Levis will keep the reins.
The Titans will have a very difficult decision to make when he does come back, but if Levis keeps up his demeanor, the decision should be easy.
