There were fewer Week 9 games with more hype than the pending matchup between the Philadelphia Eagles and Dallas Cowboys.
Both teams entered this game with high expectations, believing they had the upper hand.
The Eagles did come away from this game with a narrow victory, which might have re-started a narrative about Dak Prescott’s ability to win big games.
However, Micah Parsons tried to shut down any potential Prescott negativity in a postgame interview, hoping to stop doubters in their tracks.
According to Parsons via reporter Jon Machota, “Dak is a freaking warrior,” adding, “I have an unbelievable amount of confidence in him.”
Micah Parsons: “Dak is a freaking warrior. That’s Dak motherf—ing Prescott, bro. He’s a dog. He’s a warrior. I have an unbelievable amount of confidence in him. I felt he had a great game. People need to put more respect on him. He outplayed everyone today.”

He also said, “People need to put more respect on him.”
The general narrative around Prescott has been mostly negative throughout the season.
While he has led the Cowboys to a winning record, he is often criticized for folding under pressure, and not performing well in the heat of the moment.
However, Parsons seems to believe that Prescott “outplayed everyone today,” a sign that he and his teammates are fully behind him.
Prescott finished the game with 374 passing yards and three passing touchdowns.
This was a stark difference from Jalen Hurts’ numbers, who ended the game with 207 yards and two touchdown passes.
Prescott might have significantly outproduced Hurts’ stats in this contest, but the fact remains that the Cowboys lost the game.
He’ll have to live with that throughout the rest of the season, which now puts the Cowboys at a marked disadvantage for the division title.
