It’s been a while since the fans have been able to feel good and optimistic about the Las Vegas Raiders.
The players and some coaches had it with HC Josh McDaniels and held a meeting to get him to change his ways before being fired.
And team owner Mark Davis couldn’t have made a better decision than getting Antonio Pierce to replace him, as he couldn’t be more opposite to McDaniels.
That’s why former NFL star Keyshawn Johnson believes he’s the right guy for the job and that the Raiders should give him the full-time job regardless of the final outcome of the season.
.@Keyshawn says Antonio Pierce is there to stay as the Raiders Head Coach
“Mark Davis will not get it wrong this time around. The players respond to Antonio…He’s going nowhere.”

Johnson explained that Pierce is a guy the players respond to and the kind of person the guys would run through a brick wall for.
He stated that they didn’t respond to McDaniels or even Jon Gruden, but they will listen to one of their own, one who was there and did that as a player on the field.
On top of that, the new Undisputed co-host explained that his apparent lack of experience as a coach shouldn’t be a defining factor to stop him from getting the job.
The truth is that Raiders players look ecstatic and bought in with Pierce leading the way.
It showed with the great effort they put on Sunday, and even if it came against a bad team and a third-string quarterback, the players did send a message with that performance.
