The next couple of weeks will be key for the Arizona Cardinals’ future.
Franchise quarterback Kyler Murray is set to have all eyes on him as he makes his comeback from a major knee injury, and the whole world will be watching.
That’s why, in his recent appearance on the Dave Pasch Podcast, NBA legend Charles Barkley admitted that he’s rooting for Murray, predicting his return will also be the most important time in his career (via Arizona Cardinals.)

Barkley stated that Murray needs to be mature and can’t throw tantrums or get mad.
He urged him to lead by example and help the younger players develop good habits.
Notably, Murray’s leadership skills and maturity have been questioned multiple times, with some of his teammates publicly calling him out in the past.
The infamous “homework” clause in Murray’s contract has also raised concerns, and it seems like not everybody in the organization is so high on him.
With that in mind, there has been plenty of speculation regarding the Cardinals potentially using the No. 1 pick — should they get it — to land USC star QB Caleb Williams and move on from Murray.
Murray signed a big contract and hasn’t been able to live up to the expectations.
And while the context hasn’t always been favorable for him, those big deals come with even bigger responsibilities.
The way Murray deals with this challenge could determine his future, not only with the Cardinals but also with the rest of the National Football League.
