It’s hard to think that this Cincinnati Bengals team is pretty much the same as it was at the beginning of the season.
Their turnaround speaks volumes of Joe Burrow’s importance and impact, as the only thing that has changed for this team was that he got healthy.
Granted that their offensive line has also played better now that they’ve had more time and snaps together, but at the end of the day, it all comes down to Burrow.
With that in mind, NFL analyst David Jacoby called them the biggest turnaround in the league this season.
“The Bengals have been the biggest turnaround in the NFL.”

In his recent appearance on The Carton Show, Jacoby raved about the fact that most pundits thought they wouldn’t even make the playoffs after watching them struggle so mightily in the first four weeks of the season, and now everybody has them right atop the AFC with the likes of the Baltimore Ravens and Kansas City Chiefs as the only legitimate Super Bowl candidates.
Joe Burrow has established himself as one of the best quarterbacks in the league, and having him out there gives the Bengals a chance to beat every team they face.
Burrow entered the season playing with a calf injury, and some even thought the team should’ve shut him down until he came back at full strength.
He decided to play through it, which wasn’t the wisest choice, but he’s now fully healthy, and that means the rest of the league is in serious trouble.
