The Cincinnati Bengals got off to a slow start to begin the year.
Everyone thought they would be one of the best teams in football.
Just recently, have they begun to live up to expectations.
The injury to quarterback Joe Burrow’s calf in training camp hindered the Bengals at the beginning the year.
But, Burrow looks back to full strength and the Bengals have been playing great.
Unfortunately, the Bengals have a few of Burrow’s favorite targets on the injury report this week.
According to Kelsey Conway, Tee Higgins and Ja’Marr Chase were not on the practice field to start practice on Thursday.

This is not the news that any Bengals fan wanted to hear.
With Burrow back to full strength, they need their top receivers out there with him.
If both are unable to practice on Thursday that is not a good sign for Sunday.
Most coaches want to see their players at least practice one day before letting them play.
The Bengals have a tough matchup this week as well, as they are welcoming the Houston Texans to town.
Houston is a young team with an explosive offense.
There is no question the Bengals are going to need to score a lot of points to win this game.
Not having Higgins or Chase would be a significant setback.
It will be interesting to see what transpires the rest of the week.
But, the Bengals are hoping to get their two star wide receivers back on the field at some point.
