The defending Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs going head-to-head with the Miami Dolphins was one of the most anticipated matchups in the NFL last week, with everyone wanting to see what superstar wide receiver Tyreek Hill would do to his former team.
Before the start of last season, the Chiefs shocked everyone by trading Hill to the Dolphins because the two sides couldn’t see eye-to-eye on a new contract for arguably the best wideout in the league.
Even though this seemed like a mistake by the Chiefs and Hill, both sides have done fine since they parted ways, with Kansas City winning another Super Bowl title and the speedy receiver not missing a beat while becoming Tua Tagovailoa’s favorite target in Miami.
However, things did get a little ugly for Hill last week in Germany when his fumble resulted in a defensive touchdown for the Chiefs, which proved to be the difference in the game.
Even though the Dolphins were able to score two touchdowns in the third quarter of this game, the damage was done, with Kansas City ultimately getting the win, 21-14.
While reflecting on the game during his podcast this week, Hill blamed Dolphins teammate Cedrick Wilson for his fumble, even though he also admits that he needs to hold onto the football, via Dov Kleiman.

Hill tried to remain humble when talking about this play but couldn’t help but give his teammate some grief for failing to establish a block while he was catching a screen pass from Tagovailoa.
Even though he’s technically right about Wilson, he was also right about himself needing to hold onto the football in order to prevent the game-changing play.
