The Arizona Cardinals have been one of the worst teams in the NFL during the 2023 season, with the team winning only one game so far this year.
Even though last season was disappointing as well, the main reason for this season’s poor play has been the absence of injured star quarterback Kyler Murray, who has been recovering from knee surgery to fix a torn ACL.
With the Cardinals not really going anywhere this season and more than likely hoping for the best draft position possible in the 2024 NFL Draft, the team hasn’t been all that interested in rushing Murray back from injury to help turn things around.
That said, the Cardinals have taken their time and let Murray get right physically before he takes over under center again in Arizona.
With nine games in the books during the 2023 campaign, it appears the wait is over for Murray, with the team tweeting out the following video about the quarterback’s long recovery process.

After six straight losses, the Cardinals appear ready to get Murray back under center where he belongs in an effort to get this team back to winning football games on a weekly basis, even if draft position is of the utmost importance right now.
While Murray was on the mend and taking his time to prepare for his return, the Cardinals had Joshua Dobbs leading the charge under center until he was recently traded to the Minnesota Vikings to take over for the injured Kirk Cousins, who went down with a season-ending Achilles injury.
