With Thanksgiving Day right around the corner, things are starting to shape up around the league in terms of seeing which teams are the real deal and which teams will be looking at the 2024 NFL Draft to improve their rosters.
One team that looks like it will cruise into the NFL playoffs as a legitimate Super Bowl title contender once again are the defending champion Kansas City Chiefs, who are currently sporting an AFC-best record of 7-2.
While Patrick Mahomes and company enjoy their bye week and Travis Kelce enjoys his time overseas with Taylor Swift, the Chiefs have only improved their chances of eventually clinching the top seed in the AFC.
During Week 10, a few division leaders lost their games, with the most notable loss being the Baltimore Ravens falling to the Cleveland Browns, followed by the Jacksonville Jaguars and Cincinnati Bengals losing to their opponents via Geoff Schwartz of FOX Sports.
Ravens, Bengals, Jaguars all lose. The Chiefs win even when they don’t play

Even though the Chiefs haven’t looked like the dominant team that everyone is used to seeing on an annual basis, with Mahomes leading the charge under center and Andy Reid calling the shots from the sideline, Kansas City has done enough to get the job done seven out of their nine games thus far.
It remains to be seen whether this Chiefs squad can compete with the best of the best in the AFC come playoff time, but if their track record is any indication, Kansas City will be a force to be reckoned with once again this year regardless of their struggles.
