The Baltimore Ravens hit the ground running and had a 14-0 lead early.
It seemed like it was going to be a very long afternoon for Deshaun Watson and the Cleveland Browns.
Still, Kevin Stefanski’s team was able to rally around behind a strong defense, leaving Maryland with an impressive 33-31 win.
Following the loss, Ravens star DL Justin Madubuike claimed that it was ‘shocking’ and ‘frustrating’ to give up such a big lead and lose a crucial divisional game (via Bo Smolka).

Divisional games are never easy, and it seems like you can never count out any rival.
Jim Schwartz’s defense simply manhandled the Ravens’ offensive line late in the game, dominating the line of scrimmage and keeping Lamar Jackson on his toes.
It was an exciting game, and watching the infectious energy from that Browns’ defense should give the fans plenty of excitement for the remainder of the season.
It was their biggest win of the campaign thus far and one that could end up having enormous playoff implications.
The Ravens continue to be at the top of their division and are considered to be one of the teams to beat in the AFC.
Then again, other teams can now take a look at the footage to try and replicate what the Browns did to lock them up late in the game and steal this win on the road.
They have another tough task up next, a divisional matchup with Joe Burrow and the Cincinnati Bengals, and he’ll be healthy this time.
