Heading into the second half of the 2023 NFL regular season, the playoff picture is starting to come together, with some of the best teams in the league trying to get to the top spot in their respective conference in order to get an advantage heading into the postseason.
As of right now, the Philadelphia Eagles are the team to beat in the NFC, with Jalen Hurts and company sporting the best record in the league at 8-1, which could be in danger with an extremely tough four-game stretch coming up.
After a much-needed bye week, the Eagles will face perhaps their toughest challenge yet, as they’ll head to GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium to take on the defending Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs in a highly anticipated rematch of the big game from last February.
Following that epic showdown between arguably the two best teams in the league, it doesn’t get much easier, according to David Lombardi of The Athletic.

Along with taking on the Buffalo Bills, San Francisco 49ers, and Dallas Cowboys after facing the Chiefs, the Eagles will also have to contend with the Seattle Seahawks, which is another potential playoff team in the NFC.
This will really put the defending NFC champions to the test to see if this team truly is the league’s elite team and able to compete with the best of the best in both conferences.
If the Eagles can come out of this unscathed, Philadelphia will, without a doubt, be the team to beat moving forward.
