The 2023 NFL season has been rough, to say the least, for the once-proud New England Patriots franchise, with the team heading into Week 11 with a record of 2-8.
After an ugly end to last season, in which a lot of the blame went on head coach Bill Belichick and the coaching staff, the Patriots were thought to be a team that might be able to turn things around in 2023.
Clearly, that hasn’t been the case with starting quarterback Mac Jones seemingly continuing to regress and a lot of questions surrounding the job status for Belichick moving forward.
Some wondered whether Belichick would still have a job if the Patriots were unable to take care of business against the Indianapolis Colts in Germany over the weekend.
Unfortunately for New England, the team was beaten by the Colts in Week 10, and talk of a change has gotten even louder.
Jones, who is having a dreadful season up to this point, recently made an appearance on “Jones & Mego with Arcand” and was asked about his relationship with longtime owner Robert Kraft.

At this point, Kraft has to be considering cleaning house in New England, and things seem to be getting progressively worse with each passing week.
Belichick can’t seem to get this thing figured out, and Jones doesn’t look like a starter in the NFL, but whether either one of those loses their job moving forward is anyone’s guess, as Kraft has been painfully quiet on the subject.
Only time will tell how things pan out for the Patriots and what the immediate future holds for the storied franchise.
