Many of the top NFL players were teammates in college.
If you look across college football there are a few programs that consistently produce elite NFL talent.
One of those schools is LSU.
The 2019 LSU Tigers National Championship team may be one of the greatest college football teams of all time.
They had an undefeated record and blew teams out by wide margins.
Yet, it appears that season was not without a few speed bumps.
Patrick Queen was an LSU linebacker that year and the quarterback of that LSU team was Joe Burrow.
Queen went on the “Punch Line” podcast to discuss how he and Burrow once got into a fight at practice.
According to Dov Kleiman, Queen said, “One thing led to another, next thing you knew we’re on the sideline, I got him in a headlock and he’s punched me in my ribs.”

It is surprising to hear about this fight so many years after the fact.
But, the competitiveness of everyone on that LSU team is why they were so good.
Both Queen and Burrow ended up being first-round picks in the 2020 NFL Draft.
Also, they happened to be drafted to rival teams.
Burrow went to the Cincinnati Bengals while Queen ended up in Baltimore with the Ravens.
Now they get to play against each other two times a year.
Their upcoming matchup on Thursday Night Football is a significant one.
Baltimore is trying to remain in first place in the division while the Bengals are coming for the top spot.
The college teammates will likely be going head-to-head for the rest of their careers.
