The Denver Broncos started the season in the worst possible way.
All the talk about Sean Payton turning the culture around, holding Russell Wilson and the players accountable and whatnot seemed like wishful thinking.
They even drew criticism for not trading some of their best players when they still could before the trade deadline, but Payton and company just kept working.
Fast forward to today, and it seems like that gamble is paying off, as the Broncos are peaking at the right time, and that includes Wilson.
With that in mind, NFL analyst Peter Schrager showered the former Super Bowl champion with praise, breaking down some plays in which he was able to turn back the clock and play like his best version again (via Good Morning Football).
“Umm… @dangerusswilson was awesome on Monday night.”

There were plenty of concerns about Wilson and his level of play from last season.
The Broncos had to give up a lot to get him to Mile High, and they signed him to a huge contract extension before watching him play a single snap with the organization.
Wilson hadn’t been bad to start the season, but he hadn’t been anything special either.
Notably, he now seems to have found his groove again, and with the Broncos just one game away from the Wild Card, that’s terrible news for the rest of the league.
The Broncos have some winnable games ahead of them and a veteran QB who’s ready to prove the doubters wrong and silence the critics once and for all, so you better look out for them.
