The Kansas City Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles are set to square off in one of the most exciting games of the whole season.
Everybody had this game marked on their calendars, especially the Eagles, who are still seeking revenge after that heartbreaking loss in the Super Bowl.
The Eagles currently have the best record in the league at 8-1, with their only loss coming against the New York Jets.
As for the Chiefs, they’re 7-2 and continue to march as a powerhouse in the AFC.
Nonetheless, despite their records and talented rosters, neither of these teams is steamrolling past their opposition as they did last season.
That’s why NFL analyst Craig Carton stated that whoever wins this game is going to become the favorite to make it back to the Super Bowl, and he might be right on point.
“The winner of Eagles-Chiefs now becomes the favorite to make it back to the Super Bowl.”

The Chiefs haven’t been as explosive offensively as they’ve been during the Patrick Mahomes era, with the defense doing most of the heavy lifting and Travis Kelce as the only steady offensive contributor.
The Eagles, on the other hand, haven’t had the same level of play from Jalen Hurts, and have relied mostly on their defense as well, although A.J. Brown is on pace to have one of the greatest seasons in NFL history.
This will be the ultimate chess match and a game that might not have big postseason implications, standings-wise, but that could give the Chiefs the ultimate bragging rights or the Eagles a chance to prove that they’re still the team to beat in the league.
