The Cincinnati Bengals suffered a tough loss on Thursday night in more ways than one.
Not only did the Bengals lose to the Baltimore Ravens, but they lost quarterback Joe Burrow for the season.
Burrow suffered a torn ligament in his wrist in the loss to Baltimore.
Unfortunately, another great quarterback will be unable to finish the season.
According to Ian Rapoport, Burrow is out for the year with his wrist injury.

It does not get much worse for a Bengals team that had Super Bowl aspirations.
Now they turn over the offense to backup quarterback Jake Browning.
The Bengals’ season is over without Burrow.
Many fans are sick of seeing these injuries to start players.
Some are even blaming the short turnaround on Thursday night for the problems.
Turn off injuries and get rid of TNF games

It is curious that both Burrow and Mark Andrews suffered season-ending injuries during this Thursday night game.
But, when you play a sport as difficult as football, injuries will always happen.
Playing in a conference as competitive as the AFC, competing without Burrow will be almost impossible.
Just brutal loss for the Bengals. Back to the drawing board, but 2023 is now over!

Even though most fans know the Bengals are done, head coach Zac Taylor is more optimistic.
Taylor said: “This season is far from over.”

If the Bengals were in a weaker division then maybe they could compete for a playoff berth.
But, every team in the AFC North entered this week with a winning record.
While Taylor is doing his best to encourage his team and Bengals fans, most people know the harsh truth.
That division is loaded. Season is absolutely over

Now the Bengals will get to see what they have in Browning, who will try to guide this team forward.
