The Houston Texans have been one of the most surprising teams in football this year.
After finishing with the second-worst record in football last year, the Texans were able to select quarterback C.J. Stroud in the draft.
He has been nothing but awesome to start his NFL career.
Stroud is receiving serious MVP consideration and he is on pace to break the rookie passing record.
One reason Stroud has been so successful is due to the players he gets to throw to.
Houston has a nice group of pass catchers who have helped Stroud thrive.
It has been Nico Collins, Tank Dell, and Noah Brown as the Texans’ three leading wide receivers.
But, Stroud and the Texans will be without the latter on Sunday.
According to Dov Kleiman via KPRC 2 Houston, Brown is out for this week’s game.

Over the past two weeks, Brown has been one of the best wide receivers in football.
He has caught 13 passes for 325 yards and one touchdown.
Brown spent the first five years of his career as a member of the Dallas Cowboys.
He was rarely targeted with them but did have his best season in 2022, reeling in 43 passes for 555 yards.
If healthy, Brown is a lock to set career highs in catches, yards, and touchdowns.
Houston has been a pass-heavy offense all year.
Their level of passing production has allowed for three wide receivers and tight end Dalton Schultz to be effective.
Brown signed a one-year contract with the Texans this past offseason.
But, he has played himself into a big payday when his contract expires.
